Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) Analyst/Developer

We are requesting resumes and hourly rate quotes for Information Technology (IT) resources meeting specific requirements for Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) given below.

  • will be in the position of EDMS Analyst/Developer for EDMS Projects

Primary responsibilities will include the analysis and design of new EDMS libraries as they relate to business areas being incorporated into Enterprise Electronic Document Management System as well as supporting customizations that have been written to support EDMS interfaces.
The successful candidate will focus on insuring future business areas are incorporated into the Enterprise EDMS using the processes identified in the Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM).
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering training to new EDMS users to insure they understand and receive the full benefits of the EDMS implementation.
Where possible the candidate will incorporate the use of existing enterprise data via interfaces written to interact with existing Enterprise Business Systems.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field; and Three (3) years of advanced EDMS experience including analysis, administration, maintenance, implementation and support of EDMS/Enterprise Content Management (ECM) applications and databases in an intranet and internet environment.
Experience in a related EDMS/ECM field could be used in place of Bachelors degree.
Experience in an Oracle database environment.Experience in creating, maintaining and delivering a training curriculum.
Experience developing enterprise applications solutions that are used to maintain timely and accurate data.
Knowledge of software applications relating to indexing concepts and related functionality. Knowledge of data integrity concerns, safeguards and security.
Able to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.


Preference will be given to candidates who meet the above KSA's in addition to the following:
Advanced experience in supporting OpenText Livelink ECM eDOCS Version 5.1.0.5. Demonstrated experience developing web-based solutions involving VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, XML
