System Analyst .NET

Requirement definition

The Client is seeking for a Systems Analyst to provide .NET, ColdFusion, ASP and Visual Foxpro system support, which includes analysis, design, development, and maintenance; SQL server, Oracle and Foxpro database design, and ColdFusion administration for department applications.

Activities will involve

• In the .NET/SQL server environment: Spending Plan, Budget Systems Portal, Budget Master File System.
• In the .NET/Oracle environment: Work in Progress.
• In the ASP/SQL server environment: Application Registry.
• In the Visual Foxpro environment: Training Tracking System, Personnel Information
Tracking System.
• In the ColdFusion/SQL server environment: SkillNet, Missing Children Tracking System,
Performance Measures Dashboard.
• Other systems as may be assigned

The client strongly prefers that a candidate resume document a minimum of five (5) or more years experience as a Systems Analyst which can be confirmed with references. The Client will give preference to resumes that demonstrate experience in a .NET/SQL server environment similar to the client’s infrastructure. The cLient specific knowledge, skills and abilities related to a .NET/SQL server Systems Analyst require the candidate:
a. Be proficient in the knowledge of analysis, planning, coding, testing and implementation of new client server and web-enabled applications.
b. Be proficient in the knowledge of maintaining existing client server and web-enabled
applications by resolving test discrepancies, production problem analysis and software modifications.
c. Be proficient in the development of written technical documentation to support all existing applications, and to document enhancements and fixes.
d. Be proficient in the maintenance, tuning and installation of software products on a large scale real time client/server or web-enabled transaction processing system.
